Step into the theater this winter and discover how a story leaps from a paper script straight into the spotlight! This season, our popular script-based workshop returns to explore the whimsical worlds of old fables, traditional myths, and classic storytelling.

Young performers will dive directly into scripts, learning how to read a scene, unlock a character’s traits, and bring written words to life. Working together as a cast, participants will rehearse their scenes ahead of a fun, informal showcase for family and friends. Beyond the acting, this workshop is deeply focused on essential life skills: active listening, building empathy by stepping into someone else’s shoes, and the shared accountability of working as a team.

It’s an incredibly supportive environment where young people can build reading confidence, speak up clearly, and experience the pure joy of collaborative storytelling.
