💡 #DidYouKnow? Shakespeare`s "A Midsummer Night`s Dream" was first recorded at Hampton Court 420 years ago on 1 January 1604.
Believed to have been written to celebrate a wedding of English nobles, the play was probably first performed around 1596. The bride`s grandfather was Lord Hunsdon, the Lord Chamberlain, patron of Shakespeare`s theatre company `The Lord Chamberlain`s Men`.
