Youth Performance Ensemble for Ages 13-17

Studio Q’s Youth Performance Ensemble offers passionate young performers ages 13 – 17 in Western Sydney the opportunity to experience the thrill of working on a full-scale production in a professional theatre setting.

Over 16 weeks of intensive rehearsals, Ensemble members will develop and perform a full-length play under the guidance of an established industry director, who will mentor them through the creative process—shaping their craft and preparing them for the stage at Q Theatre as part of its official season.

What to Expect

• Professional Production Experience: Perform in a fully staged play with costumes, lighting, and a live audience in a renowned theatre.
• Mentorship: Work closely with a professional director and creative team to develop your skills and deliver a high-calibre performance.
• Community Connection: Be part of an ensemble that celebrates and nurtures young talent in the Western Sydney arts community.
• Audition-Based Entry: This is a selective program. Entry is by audition only to ensure participants are ready for the creative challenge and commitment.

Rehearsals will be held on Tuesdays from 4:30pm to 7:30pm, beginning 3 February through to 2 June. The technical rehearsal will be on Tuesday 9 June, with a dress rehearsal on Friday 12 June and two performances on Saturday 13 June.
