Founded in 2024, Valda Silvy Ensemble is a distinguished chamber group comprising exceptionally talented young musicians from Penrith Conservatorium of Music.
An extension of Penrith Con’s chamber music program, Valda Silvy Ensemble specialises in performing works from the Classical period, reflecting the personal passion of their patron and namesake, Valda Silvy OAM.
Valda Silvy Ensemble, guided by experienced mentors and educators, brings new vitality to the timeless works of composers such as Mozart, Haydn, and Beethoven. The ensemble performs the great symphonies of these composers in chamber form, captivating audiences with their exceptional musicality and heartfelt interpretations.
Whether in intimate venues or on larger stages, they strive to make classical music accessible and enjoyable for all, inspiring a lifelong love of music in their listeners.
