Join Access Ensemble, an inclusive drama workshop for participants who identify as living with disability, offering a welcoming space to explore performance and storytelling.

In the second half of the year, participants will continue to grow their performance skills in a vibrant, inclusive, and empowering environment. Term 3 is a joyful and focused time of preparation as the group works collaboratively to develop, refine, and polish their unique performance pieces for the Annual Showcase at the end of the term. Sharing their hard work on stage is a proud highlight of the year, allowing our ensemble to shine in front of a live audience.

Following the showcase, Term 4 invites participants to explore new creative horizons. The focus shifts to exploring fresh storytelling techniques, movement exercises, and character building, offering a relaxed yet stimulating space to play, try new ideas, and strengthen bonds within the group. Led by qualified teaching artists with experience in accessible practice, Semester 2 celebrates individuality and creative expression every step of the way.

Access Ensemble workshops are available for Young Adult (18 – 26) and Adult (26+). Support workers are welcome to all workshops.

Ready to start (or continue) your journey? Term 3 kicks off in late July and runs until mid-September, with the Annual Showcase taking place on Saturday, 19 September. Then, Term 4 starts in mid-October and wraps up in early December, closing with an Open Studio session showcasing their screen skills to family and friends.

Book both terms upfront to enjoy a significant discount. Join an inclusive space where all are welcome to experience the joy of theatre through Access Ensemble.
