Shakthimayi

Natyokthi School of Dance proudly presents Shakthimayi, our Annual Concert 2026, celebrating the power within every woman.

Inspired by Shakthi, the divine feminine energy, Shakthimayi brings together the grace, courage, wisdom and resilience that shape womanhood. Through the expressive language of Bharathnatyam, our dancers explore the many manifestations of this energy, the wisdom of Saraswathi, the abundance ok Lakshmi and the strength of Durga. The divine forms find their reflection in everyday women: mothers who nuture, daughters who dream, teachers who guide, leaders who inspire, and individuals who rise through challenges with quiet determination. Each presentation honours the strength to create, protect, preserve and transform.

For our students, this concert is a celebration of their own unfolding potential. Every step, gesture and rhythm reflects dedication, growth and confidence to express themselves, supported by a community that believes in them. Shakthimayi invites audiences to experience the connection between the divine feminine and the power we recognise in ourselves and one another. It is an offering of dance, devotion and gratitude, honouring every woman's unique journey. Join the Natyokthi family for an evening of storytelling, rhythm and expression as we celebrate the courage to dream, the strength to rise and the power within.
