Mulgoa Stories is designed to support local artists in the creative development of their performance, building towards public presentation.

Welcome to Mulgoa Stories (formerly Q Theatre Lab), an artist residency program presented by Q Theatre. This initiative is designed to support local artists in the creative development of original performance, providing a collaborative environment to refine new work.

The 2026 program offers participants a $1,500 residency fee for a development week held from March 9th to March 13th, 2026. Artists also receive five hours of daily access to the Allan Mullins Studio, along with technical support, professional photography to document the process, culminating in an invite-only rehearsed reading on Friday, March 27th.
