Krishnavataram is a Bharatanatyam dance drama that brings to life the extradinary journey of Lord Krishna, from his miraculous birth to the timeless wisdom of Geethopadesham. Born amidst captivity and carried across the turbulent Yamuna, Krishna's arrival heralds hope and the restoration of dharma. His childhood in Gokula unfolds through playful mischief. Yashoda's boundless love, and remarkable acts of courage. from stealing butter and enchanting hearts with his flute to subduing the mighty serpent Kaliya, each episode reveals the divine within the endearing child.

As Krishna's journey progresses, the tenderness of Vrindavan gives way to the responsibilities of a protector, guide, and visionary. His triumph over Kamsa and his steadfast support of the Pandavas illuminate his greater purpose: upholding righteousness in a world challenged by ambition, injustice and conflict. The production culminates on the battlefield of Kurukshetra, where Krishna guides a conflicted Arjuna through the profound teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, revealing the meaning of duty, devotion and selfless action.

Through expressive abhinaya, intricate rhythm, evocative music and compelling storytelling, Krishnavataram celebrates Krishna as a child, friend, beloved, protector and eternal teacher, inviting audiences to discover the enduring relevance of his life and message within their own journeys of faith and purpose.
