Elevate (formerly known as Accelerate) commences this semester as dynamic short courses tailored for emerging artists aged 18 - 23 who are ready to take the next step toward a professional career in the performing arts.

This 8-week intensive is designed to build the skills, confidence, and industry insight needed to transition from student to working artist.

The first short course (Term 3) focuses on short film creation, offering participants the opportunity to work closely with a professional director to develop, rehearse, and shoot a short film. The next course (Term 4) shifts to live theatre, as students collaborate on a fully staged play under the direction of an industry expert.

Elevate is ideal for those preparing to enter the creative industries and develop their own artistic voice. With hands-on mentoring, industry-led training, and multiple performance opportunities (the Studio Q annual showcase and an external industry-focused presentation), this course offers a valuable bridge between education and the professional world.
