How to buy tickets

Tickets for families, children and babies

Many of our Kids & Families shows have family or group discounts available.

Ticket prices may vary for performances held at The Joan but not presented by us. Different presenters and promoters have varying pricing structures and conditions, so always check the details before purchasing.

Children aged under two years do not require a ticket, providing they can sit on a parent or carer’s lap.

Prams are not permitted in the theatres. For all Kids & Families performances in the Q Theatre, you can store prams and strollers in the holding room. For other performances in the Concert Hall, please store them via the side stage.

Ticketing Info, Refunds and Safety Tips

Exchanges and Refunds

If you can’t get to a show we encourage you to give your ticket to a friend to use.

For more information, please have a read of our Terms & Conditions page.

Beware of Ticket Resellers

If you purchase tickets from a reseller such as Viagogo, StubbHub or one of the many other resellers in the marketplace, you may be paying too much, or potentially purchasing tickets that are not valid.

Tickets for all shows at The Joan should always be purchased direct from our Box Office or from our website.

Only tickets that have been purchased officially through The Joan will be admitted to performances.

For more information, check out the Live Performance Australia Safe Tix Guide.

Sold Out Performances

Our website will indicate when shows are nearing capacity, and when they are sold out. From time to time additional seats will be put on sale and we will notify patrons via our Facebook page.
