Ignite is a drama workshop that takes young performers on an exciting journey through the diverse world of theatre.

Starting this semester, the workshop will be expanding its age requirements to 13 – 16 year olds in order to better serve the young artists in the community.

After last semester’s exciting materials, the workshop will be delving into devising performance as well as film acting techniques and basic cinematography. Students will deepen their understanding of performance techniques while exploring new ways to express themselves creatively.

Ready to get involved? Term 3 runs from late July to early mid-September, with the Annual Showcase taking place on 6 September. Afterwards, Term 4 will run mid-October to early December, with participants having an extra chance to perform for the local community — a unique opportunity to share their talents and build connections through the arts.
