She Rested

Written and performed by acclaimed artist Aimée Falzon, She Rested is a song cycle, a ritual, and a reckoning.

Driven by Aimée’s soaring live vocals and deep soundscapes, woven with Eddie Abd’s arresting video, She Rested is a performance that illuminates the sacred underworld of contemporary caregiving.

Motherhood transforms and obliterates, yet the raw truths have remained taboo. She Rested offers up a moment of reverence in a world that so rarely pauses to acknowledge the journey.
