The Q invites female performers over 30 years old to audition for a cross disciplinary exploration of Mary Shelley’s ‘Frankenstein.’
Auditions will be held in Penrith during September 2016 and if selected you must be available from October 3 – 5 November 2016. (This is a paid opportunity).
The project will be led by Nick Atkins, Producer, Q Programs at The Joan in collaboration with musician Paul Smith and digital artist/ theatre maker Ryan McGoldrick.
This is a collaboratively developed performance exploring fear, technology and control. We are looking for performers who have experience in devised theatre and an interest in collaborative practice.
We encourage applications from:
– People from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
– People who are interested in cross disciplinary practice
