Busy Mum, The Cabaret! A show born from Dizzy’s obsession with the idea of being a mother who never has enough time in the day. A hilarious look at queer motherhood figures, busy Mums on tv, and the journey to her own drag motherhood. Let Dizzy take you on a fun ride using her queer lenses and sassy humour.

Originally hailing from humble beginnings of Western Sydney, Dizzy started out doing drag in Oxford Street at Arq and Midnight Shift in amateur drag competitions. After graduating from the Australian Institute of Music with a Major in Musical Theatre, Dizzy went on to combine her love of drag and music to create sell out cabaret acts in Newtown and even her own YouTube series. Dizzy can be found hosting private parties, performing at bars around Sydney, and on her podcast Tea With Queens.

On Friday nights, The Joan’s Borland Lounge comes to life. Join us for a drink, some nibbles and some easy entertainment. From local musicians, to art classes, community projects, cabaret and theatre, trivia and games; there’s a great mix of fun on offer.

Come and join us for a relaxed end to the week. Our Borland Bar opens from 5pm.
