Carnival of the Animals

Richard Bonynge Ensemble

Discover the magical world of music and animals with this special family friendly concert.

The animals are having a carnival, and everyone is invited! Among the attractions are majestic lions, braying mules, a dancing elephant, bouncing kangaroos, stately birds and colourful schools of fish.

Join the Richard Bonynge Ensemble, as they bring Camille Saint-Saëns spell-binding work, The Carnival of the Animals and Johann Sebastian Bach’s mesmerising Concerto for four pianos in A minor to life on stage.

Audience members will be invited onto the stage at the end of the concert to get up close and learn about the instruments and how they made the sounds of each animal.

A wonderful introduction to music for young listeners. Get into the carnival spirit and come dressed up as your favourite animal!
